The Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident with multiple victims. According to FPD, its officers responded to the 200 block of Lieber Street for a reported shooting around 8:45 p.m. on December 3, 2024.

FPD says its officers found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Several victims were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Police confirm that one victim was pronounced deceased. Detectives with FPD’s Homicide Unit are currently investigating the incident. No other details are available at this time.
