The Mt. Juliet Police Department has arrested an 18-year-old male from Nashville, Tennessee following a police pursuit. MJPD reports that an officer attempted to stop a vehicle on North Mt. Juliet Road because of a suspended license plate.
MJPD says the driver fled down Charlie Daniels Parkway and a dead-end street. Officers followed the vehicle until it stopped and the driver fled. Officers chased the suspect.
After using a Taser, MJPD took the suspect into custody. An 18-year-old man from Nashville was allegedly found to be in possession of unlawful drugs. The unlicensed male was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
