The Mount Dora Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect wanted on two counts of Attempted Manslaughter with a Firearm. MDPD reports that 19-year-old JaQuan Turner was apprehended in Mount Dora by the United States Marshals Warrants Task Force on August 16, 2024.

Turner was wanted on an outstanding warrant from August 2023 for numerous charges, including Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm by a Delinquent, and two counts of Attempted Manslaughter with a Firearm.

Turner is being held on a bond of $80,000.
