The Moorhead Police Department is investigating after a 17-year-old male was transported to the hospital with a gunshot injury to the leg. Around 5 p.m. on December 31, 2023, officers responded to the 1200 block of 34 Street Circle South for a report of a male who’d been shot.

At the scene, officers located a victim with a gunshot injury. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the victim’s condition is not known. Furthermore, police say no suspect information is available.
