Monroe, North Carolina – The Monroe Police Department says it is looking for an 18-year-old accused of damaging graves at Hillcrest Cemetery on Adams Street.
Police say information was received about a group of individuals recording themselves destroying graves at the cemetery.
Once MPD was made aware of the video, officers found the damaged graves. Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Jaykob Marquez Bracey for Felony Desecrating a Gravestone.
Police say the Department of Juvenile Justice has been contacted for charges on a teen involved. MPD asks anyone with information to call the Police Department at 704-282-4700 or Crimestoppers at 704-283-5600.
