The Minot Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a South Carolina homicide. According to a social media post from MPD, the Police Department and US Marshals Office arrested a suspect in northwest Minot on Wednesday afternoon in connection to a 2021 homicide in South Carolina.

33-year-old Sherrod C. Joyner was arrested on an outstanding homicide warrant out of Richland County, South Carolina. After being arrested without incident, Joyner was taken to the Ward County Jail while awaiting extradition.
