An inmate at Midland County Sheriff’s Office Central Detention facility escaped on Friday night. The inmate has been captured and charged accordingly. The Midland County Sheriff’s Office reports that Adolfo Williams escaped from the minimal security housing unit around 9:30 p.m. on July 22, 2024.

Williams was being held for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Violation of Probation for Theft over $200 Under $750. Authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Escape for Williams.

MCSO and other local law enforcement agencies located Williams around 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Griffin Avenue. Williams was taken into custody and charged with Felony Escape.
