The Suffolk Police Department confirms that 44-year-old Michael Steven Catron has turned himself into to authorities at the Suffolk Police Department. The arrest is in connection to an aggravated assault that occurred on August 13, 2024.

On that day around 9:50 p.m., SPD officers responded to the 130 block of Lee Street for a medical assist call. At the scene, officers found an adult female suffering from stab wounds to the neck. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At the time, police said 44-year-old Michael Steven Catron was wanted on charges of Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Abduction and Kidnapping, Concealing/Destroying Evidence of a Felony, and Assault and Battery. No other details are available.
