The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a death after a man was found dead by his friend. Investigators say that Kendall District officers responded to a call at a residence where a man had been found deceased in a garage. At the scene, officers found the victim suffering from multiple dog bites.

Once Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reached the scene, the victim was declared deceased. The victim’s body was taken to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department where the cause of death will be determined. The Miami-Dade Animal Services Department removed a dog from the residence.

Miami-Dade Police identified the victim as Alexander Andres Torres of Miami.
