The London Metropolitan Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the murder of a 16-year-old in Hayes. Police say detectives have made an arrest as the appeal for witnesses and information continues.
The investigation was initiated after police responded to reports of a stabbing on Bourne Avenue in Hayes. Met Officers and members of the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance arrived at the scene within minutes.
The 16-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have identified the victim as Kamari Johnson. On 25 May, a 17-year-old male was taken into custody on suspicion of murder. The man remains in custody at this time.
