Metro Nashville Police say there was no gunfire at the Haagen-Dazs store in Opry Mills

Following a report of possible gunfire at Opry Mills, Metro Nashville Police responded to the scene to investigate. According to Nashville Police, a teen fight at the Haagen-Dazs store caused metal chairs to hit a tile floor. The sound of the crash caused people to mistake the noise for gunfire.

The Metro Nashville Police Department was called and the mall was cleared of patrons. At this time, MNPD said there is no evidence of gunfire whatsoever and the mall has reopened. There was no impact to the movie theater.

Three teens have been arrested for disorderly conduct and are being transported to juvenile detention. Police say there are two 16-year-olds and one 14-year-old.
