The Metro Nashville Police Department reports that it has arrested 15-year-old Shamari Bailey in connection to the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Braden Caldwell at the WeGo bus terminal.

Earlier today, MNPD said that a physical altercation had occurred between two teens and led to a fatal shooting on the second story of the MLK Boulevard bus station.

The suspect fled the scene in a black hoodie and Christmas sweats. The victim, Caldwell, passed away at Vandy Peds.

TITANS detectives and Central Precinct officers arrested the suspect at an apartment on University Court. Bailey was arrested on a charge of criminal homicide.
