The Memphis Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting on Airways Boulevard on Saturday night. MPD reports that its officers responded to a shooting at 300 Airways Boulevard around 11:40 p.m. on August 31, 2024.

At the scene, officers found a male victim in critical condition. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. MPD says it has since arrested 33-year-old Eric Hopson who is charged with Second Degree Murder.
