The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Donald Arthur Stickens III after he was allegedly caught on camera abusing a 9-year-old Golden Retriever mix. MCSO reports that the 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with Felony Animal Cruelty.
A security camera captured the horrific beating and abuse of his girlfriend’s dog. The video shows Stickens hanging the dog from a leash before punching the dog in the head and body. After the assault, Stickens goes into the apartment.
Witnesses told authorities this was not the one and only time the dog had suffered cruelty at the hands of Stickens. The suspect is behind bars with a bond of $55,000. The horrific video can be viewed here.
