The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reports it is investigating a shooting that occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. GCSO says the communications center received a 911 call about a gunshot victim at 241 Evelyn Drive in Greenville around 11:30 p.m.

Authorities say deputies reached the scene and found a 32-year-old Hispanic male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the back of the head. The victim is currently being treated at an area hospital.

GCSO says it was determined that the victim was involved in an altercation at 100 Carly Drive with unknown suspects and was shot. Following the shooting, the victim fled the scene and was later located at 241 Evelyn Drive, according to authorities.

GCSO says there are no suspects at this time. Authorities ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
