A man has been shot in Channelview, Texas. A family member has been detained in connection to the shooting. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports that units responded to a shooting at a residence in the 16800 block of Avenue B in Channelview, Texas.

Based on the preliminary information, an adult male victim was shot by a family member. The family member was detained as a suspect in the shooting. The victim was transported to an area hospital by EMS.
