Man gets nine years after Met investigation shows he conspired to supply ecstasy ketamine and other drugs

A Lullingstone Crescent man has been sentenced to prison following a long-running Met investigation. In a news release, Metropolitan Police announced that 41-year-old Lee Silvester was sentenced after being found guilty of four counts of conspiracy to supply and four counts of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.

In April 2022, officers witnessed a man visiting a storage unit in west London. The man was stopped and arrested while in the process of unloading class A drugs from his vehicle. The man was charged and later convicted receiving a sentence of over five years for possession with intent to supply.

The Met explains that officers seized and examined the man’s phone allowing them to identify Silvester as the individual directing and controlling him. An investigation was initiated into Lee Silvester leading to his arrest in September 2022. When stopped, authorities say Silvester was in possession of class A drugs valued at more than £50k.

A search of Silvester’s property led to the discovery of other drugs and paraphernalia, including packaging equipment, heat sealing devices, and a burner phone proving he’d been in contact with the other man. The jury deliberated for less than three hours before reaching a unanimous verdict of guilty.

Lee Silvester has been jailed for nine years.
