The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in the death of 18-year-old Trayleon Jones. PCSO says its deputies responded to the intersection of East 46th Street and Mimosa Road for a shooting around 7 p.m. on October 24, 2024.

At the scene, deputies reportedly found a male victim deceased with apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities say Jacob L. Derrick has been arrested in connection to the incident. He was booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility on a charge of Capital Murder.
