Loveland, Colorado – The Loveland Police Department has announced the arrest of 23-year-old Brice Carey. According to an LPD statement, officers responded to the area of Taft Avenue and 57th Street for a road rage incident involving a gun on Friday.
Police say the victim reported that their vehicle had been shot by another motorist although no injuries were reported. The alleged shooter, 23-year-old Brice Carey, is accused of firing multiple rounds at the victim as they were traveling north on Taft Avenue.
LPD says it was reported that Carey fled north on Taft Avenue following the shooting. According to police, Carey was observed at his residence and arrested after probable cause was established.
Carey was booked with Murder in the 2nd Degree – Knowingly Heat of Passion, Criminal Attempt to Commit Class Three Felony, Menacing – Intimidation, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
