A man has been arrested in connection to a homicide in March. The Louisville Metro Police Department reported that 44-year-old Lacardo Wilson has been arrested and charged with one count of murder.
On March 2, 2024 around 1:30 p.m., LMPD officers responded to a shooting. Officers arrived in the area of Del Rio Place and Commander Drive where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on March 4, 2024. On May 14, 2024, LMPD’s Homicide Unit apprehended Wilson who is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
