The Los Banos Police Department has arrested a local junior high school teacher on possession of child pornography charges. LBPD reports that the 29-year-old teacher, Christian Banuelos, was arrested off campus on August 22, 2024.

LBPD, Fresno County, and Federal Authorities took the teacher into custody following an investigation that allegedly determined he was in the profession of child pornography. Authorities say Banuelos is also suspected of distributing child pornography.
