On October 30, 2023, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers investigated an assault at the intersection of Kingsley Drive and Wilshire Boulevard. Following an investigation, detectives learned that witnesses intervened to stop the suspect from continuing to physically assault a male victim. The suspect fled the scene on foot on Kingsley Drive, according to the report.

LAPD is identifying the suspect as a Hispanic or Black male, 6’ 1”, 160 pounds, between 30 and 40 years old. Detectives released three images of the suspect.

The victim died at an area hospital on November 6, 2023.
