The Los Angeles Police Department has announced that it is looking for a suspect after three individuals were shot on December 10, 2023. LAPD’s South Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who fatally shot a man. Harbor Area patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting near the 1100 block of South Palos Verde Street around 12 AM on December 10, 2023.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. A 40-year-old Hispanic male had already been pronounced deceased by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. A 45-year-old Hispanic female was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in stable condition.

Officers learned that a 50-year-old white male had been struck by gunfire and was transported to an area hospital by a private vehicle before officers reached the scene. The man is listed in stable condition. The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld at this time.
