Update – LASD says its Homicide Investigators are still investigating the fatal shooting. LASD alleges that two black adult males entered the store before being involved in a fight with the victim. At some point during the fight, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

Following the shooting, the suspects were seen fleeing on foot.

Original – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Lancaster. LASD reports that its Homicide Investigators responded to a shooting investigation. The shooting was reported in the 1400 block of W Avenue I in Lancaster around 3:27 p.m. on July 16, 2024.
