The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deputy-involved shooting that occurred on Thursday night. LASD reports that its Homicide Detectives have responded to a deputy-involved shooting investigation.

The incident happened in the 14600 block of South Cahita Avenue in Compton around 8:45 p.m. on June 13, 2024. The suspect’s condition is not known at this time. LASD has not provided any further details.
