The London Police Department has announced two burglary arrests. London Police Chief Jerry Hollon reports that Jesse Jones and Preston Lambert were arrested for Burglary 2nd Degree around 4:14 a.m. on August 24, 2024.

An officer learned of a possible burglary on 5th Street possibly related to another burglary the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is working. During the investigation, Officer Arnold with LPD and Sgt. Napier with LCSO identified the location of the suspects.

Chief Hollon said authorities found that the suspects matched the men seen in surveillance video from the burglaries. Police also recovered multiple items allegedly taken during the burglaries.

Jesse Jones and Preston Lambert were taken into custody and booked into the Laurel County Detention Center.
