The Little Rock Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that involved two minors. LRPD reports that officers responded to the 12000 block of Saint Charles Boulevard for a report of an accidental shooting involving two minors around 4:42 p.m. on July 4, 2024.

At the scene, officers found one minor suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Officers secured the area before detectives initiated an investigation.
