The Little Rock Police Department says one person is dead and a death investigation has been initiated. In a social media release, LRPD reports that its officers responded to an assist medical call at 11311 Mara Lynn Road around 3:06 p.m. on October 29, 2024.

LRPD says MEMS and Rescue arrived. Officers were reportedly called back to the scene after the individual passed away. LRPD says the ambiguous scene surrounding the death meant that more investigation was needed.

LRPD’s homicide Detectives responded to the scene. No other details are available at this time.
