The Little Elm Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to a September 16 shooting. LEPD reports that it carried out a search and arrest warrant in the 1400 block of Canary Drive in South Paloma Creek with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The warrant was related to a shooting at the EZ Mart on September 16. 20-year-old Jh’don Brown was taken into custody and charged with Deadly Conduct. Authorities say it was determined that Brown was in possession of two firearms.

It is believed that one of the firearms was used in the shooting. It was allegedly reported stolen on September 9. The second gun is still being investigated. Brown is also facing a charge of Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
