The Lexington Police Department is investigating after a male victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Around 7:08 p.m. on December 29, 2023, LPD officers responded to the area of Ashby Glen Place for a report of an individual who’d been shot. While traveling to the scene, officers were informed that a male victim with a gunshot wound was being transported to an area hospital.

It was reported that the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening. At this time, no suspect information is available. Detectives with the Personal Crimes Section are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 859-258-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020.
