Lexington, North Carolina – The Lexington Police Department says it has developed probable cause that Ricky Lam was in possession of a firearm in 2023.
Rowan County detectives obtained a warrant for Lam. According to LPD, this information stems from an open RCSO case on the larceny of a firearm.
Detectives allegedly determined that Lam possessed the stolen firearm. Lam was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
Previously, Lam was convicted of a felony charge of First-Degree Assault in Connecticut in 2003. LPD says the charge is not directly related to the disappearance of Nancy Bunly.
