Lexington, Kentucky – The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 1100 block of Winchester Road.

According to police, officers responded to the location for unknown trouble around 11:19 a.m. on January 16, 2025.

At the scene, officers found an unresponsive female victim who was pronounced deceased by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.

Authorities say the victim had been shot. No other details are available at this time.
