The Lewisville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday evening. LPD reports that there is police activity near 2175 South SH 121 Business and Corporate Drive around 3:33 p.m. on August 25, 2024.

There will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues. LPD asks that locals avoid the area if possible. One victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

LPD is currently working to locate the armed suspect who fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the LPD tip line at 972-219-8477.
