Lawton Police have announced the arrest of a homicide suspect wanted out of Riverside County, California. Around 10:45 a.m. on August 21, 2024, LPD officers carried out a traffic stop on a vehicle allegedly linked to a homicide in Riverside County.

The suspect, Daniel Ambriz, was taken into custody at a different location by LPD’s SWAT Team, US Marshal Andy Moon, and the Marshal Task Force. No other details are available at this time.
