A man was injured in a shooting on Fleetwood Drive in Elgin, Illinois late Saturday night. The Elgin Police Department says its officers responded to the 1200 block of Fleetwood Drive for a shooting around 11:47 p.m. on October 5.

Officers found an adult male gunshot victim at the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital. At this time, police have not said anything about the victim’s condition.

EPD says detectives from its Major Investigations Division are investigating the shooting. Authorities say all parties were known to each other and all parties have been accounted for.

Police say there is no danger to the public.
