The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for the cruel individual who left a dog to die in a plastic tote. LVMPD reports that its officers responded to the 1100 block of East Twain Avenue about an animal complaint around 12:50 a.m. on July 26, 2024.
At the scene, responding officers spoke to a citizen who found an abandoned dog inside a plastic tote behind a business. LVMPD says the dog appeared to be medical distress. The dog was transported to an area animal hospital where it passed away.
LVMPD’s Animal Cruelty Detail is investigating the case with assistance from Clark County Animal Protection Services and community members. Anyone with information is asked to call the Animal Cruelty Detail at 702-828-2907 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
