The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a possible murder suicide. According to LVMPD, Dispatch received a report of two unresponsive individuals inside a residence in the 4700 block of North Torrey Pines Drive around 9:25 a.m. on April 1, 2024.
At the scene, responding officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced both individuals deceased. LVMPD Homicide Detectives say they determined that an elderly male shot a woman before shooting himself.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. The identities of the individuals involved and the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office at a later time.
