The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday morning. LVMPD reports that its officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 4800 block of North Tioga Way around 5:07 a.m. on July 12, 2024.

Officers reached the scene and located two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel transported one man to UMC Hospital for treatment. The other man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

LVMPD Homicide Section detectives say the investigation suggests the men were involved in an altercation that led to an exchange of gunfire. Detectives do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
