The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has announced charges in a homicide from last year. On November 22, 2024, LVMPD Homicide was informed of a suspicious death on October 29 in the 3000 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. On October 29, 2023, medical personnel responded to a call for service regarding a man who was later identified as 47-year-old Christopher Tapp.

The victim was suffering injuries as a result of a purported accident. He was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. LVMPD Homicide Detectives say Tapp was in an altercation inside a room at the resort before being found.

On March 6, 2024, detectives say they identified the suspect as 45-year-old Daniel Rodimer. An arrest warrant was issued for Rodimer on a charge of open murder.
