Update – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrests of two men in connection to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex on North Torrey Pines Drive. At the scene, officers found a male inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased.

Another man had self-transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Previously, 18-year-old Prseyus Dennis was arrested in this case. On March 2, 2024, LVMPD detectives said they were able to identify 19-year-old Juan Galvan and 20-year-old Javier Galvan as suspects in this homicide.

Both men were located and arrested by the Criminal Apprehension Team on March 1, 2024. They’re charged with open murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Original Story – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of an 18-year-old in connection to a homicide on January 2, 2024. According to LVMPD, dispatch received a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive around 9:41 p.m. on January 2, 2024.

At the scene, officers found a male inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased. While at the scene, officers were informed that a male had self-transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives say the male was related to the shooting in the apartment. On February 27, 2024, 18-year-old Prseyus Dennis was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
