The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a man was slain in a possible road rage incident. Around 4:06 PM on October 29, 2023, LVMPD dispatch received a report of a shooting near Escondido Street and Cactus Avenue. At the scene, officers located a man with an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Medical personnel transported the victim to the hospital where he died days later, according to a press release from the LVMPD.

LVMPD Homicide Section detectives believe the victim was driving northbound on Escondido Street from Cactus Avenue in a blue KIA Sportage. The victim was reportedly following a white 4-door sedan when shots were fired. Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the white sedan that may be involved in the homicide.
