The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has announced an arrest of a fellow police officer. On October 12, 2024, LVMPD says Lieutenant Brian Boxler was arrested.

Boxler was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for Domestic Battery by Strangulation. Boxler has been employed with the department since 2008.

He is assigned to the Community Safety Division, Summerlin Area Command. LVMPD confirms he will be placed on suspension of police powers with pay pending further investigation.
