The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced its homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in the slaying of 69-year-old Lina Pigill. Around 11:45 p.m. on February 4, 2024, Pigill was found unresponsive suffering from a head injury at her home in the 1200 block of Burnham Avenue.

Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital where it was determined that the injury was the result of a gunshot. On February 23, 2024, Pigill succumbed to her injuries. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this fatal shooting to come forward.
