The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a media release that its detectives were investigating a fatal shooting. Around 12:41 a.m. on March 2, 2024, LVMPD dispatch received a report of a collision involving a vehicle into a structure in the 4400 block of East Lone Mountain Road.

At the scene, medical personnel pronounced the driver of the vehicle deceased. Officers determined that the victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. LVMPD Homicide Section detectives were requested.

Detectives say the victim was followed by an unknown vehicle before the shooting occurred. No other details are available at this time.
