Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division are asking for the public’s help in locating 20-year-old Dashawn Dow. Detectives claim Dow is a suspect in several follow-home violent robberies in the Los Angeles area. On October 2, 2023 around 1:30 PM, video surveillance caught a grey Maserati following a man and woman into a parking structure at their North Hollywood apartment complex.

As the victims got out of the vehicle, they were confronted by armed suspects who demanded their property. The suspects fled with the victims’ money and jewelry.

On October 10, 2023 around 12:10 AM, a male and female were confronted by two black male suspects in the parking structure of their North Hollywood apartment complex. One suspect tried to remove a victim’s watch forcibly from his wrist. When the victim resisted, the other suspect pressed a gun against the victim’s chest. The victim relented and gave up the property. The suspects escaped in a getaway vehicle. Detectives believe Dow was involved in both incidents and used a firearm in the commission of the crimes.

According to a social media post from LAPD Headquarters, Dow has been arrested five times for robbery in the past 18 months but has been able to post bond following each arrest. Police say Dow was possibly linked to two other follow-home style robberies in the downtown area of Los Angeles and is a person of interest in other criminal investigations. Dow is at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
