The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a suspect for allegedly stealing flowers from gravestones at a cemetery. At the end of December 2023, authorities provided information about the incident which took place at a cemetery in the 18100 block of Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore.

The Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team handled the investigation and identified 45-year-old Angela Riedel as the suspect. Riedel was located in the area of Central Avenue and Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore on January 4, 2024. Deputies responded to the location where they apprehended Riedel.

Riedel was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges of vandalism and theft within the confines of a cemetery.
