The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a media release that it is investigating the shooting of a female in the Marydale Community. Sheriff Craig Webre announced that detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on Carol Street in Thibodaux on Monday evening.

The female victim was shot as a result of an incident that occurred just before 8 p.m. on March 4, 2024. No other details are available at this time.
