Knoxville Police Department detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1500 block of Connecticut Avenue around 7 p.m. on September 28, 2024. KPD reports that the shooting was captured on surveillance video.

The victim is a 48-year-old man who is wearing an orange shirt in the video. The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot. The male suspect fled from the scene following the shooting.
