Update – KPD confirms the missing kids have been found safe.

Original – The Knoxville Police Department is currently searching for a non-custodial father and his three children. KPD reports that its Special Crimes detectives are currently working to locate 12-year-old Aki-Bakari, 9-year-old Amena, and 5-year-old Amirr-Barack.

KPD believes the children are with their non-custodial father, 43-year-old Aki-Bakari Warren. KPD says efforts to contact Warren have been unsuccessful so far. The whereabouts of Warren and the children are not known.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
