The Knoxville Police Department said in a social media post that it is investigating after a man was shot in Krutch Park for undetermined reasons. The incident happened around 9:40 p.m. tonight.

Multiple individuals were seen running from the scene of the shooting. Police say they were possibly juveniles. KPD said it is making extensive efforts to locate the suspect. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
